BRNC installing generator

Station not quite ready!

Refurbishing and equipping the watch station
First, our thanks to the owners of the site, the National Trust, without whose agreement and help there would have been no question of a Coastwatch Station at Froward Point.

Then we wish to thank the many individuals, companies, and other organisations whose generosity made it possible to raise the £30,000 needed to establish the station.

The practical help of the engineers of Hawke Division, Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC), was immensely valuable. In two days they improved the access road, laid on the water supply, installed the generator, and ran the power cables.

We would especially like to thank Darthaven Marina for their help and generosity in the supply of equipment for the station.

Financial donors
It is not practical to list every donor here, but we sincerely thank all who contributed, whether named or not.
