Live weather

You have probably noticed that the live weather the webcam service we normally provide has not been operational recently.

This is because our diesel generator has broken down. We had hoped to repair it, but it is now evident that it has to be replaced at a cost of about £6,000. Until this happens we are using as little electricity as possible and so cannot run the microwave link across the estuary to put the weather data and webcam on the internet. Under these circumstances, any contributions towards the unexpected costs involved will be most gratefully received. You can make a contribution by clicking the DONATE button opposite.

You can call the watchstation on 07976 505649 between 10am and 4pm
to receive a weather report from the watchkeepers on duty – or call us on Channel 65.

Many thanks!
You can now talk to us on VHF Channel 65!
We can provide radio checks, current weather, sea state and local information. To call us, call Froward Point NCI on channel 65. Do not call us on Channel 16 and do not call "Coastwatch" (which could be confused with Coastguard). We are delighted to be able to provide this additional service.
